praying mother, Mamie L.
Brand, in Chicago, IL.

Overseer Thomas had been
leading God’s flock
since November 1986,
when God birthed through
her the first Center of
Hope |
|
|
|
Life Changing Ministries
of Chicago, IL. Through
the ministry in Chicago,
many souls were
delivered from drugs,
alcohol, |
|
|
street
life, and a host of
other satanic
strongholds. The Mamie
Thomas Transformation
Center which was also
located in Chicago
helped many teenagers,
adults, and single
mothers, who would have
otherwise been homeless. |
|
In 1993, Overseer Thomas
was invited to Niles, MI
to conduct a revival at
a small church. After a
week revival God saved
and delivered a local
drug addict. His
deliverance sparked a
city-wide revival that
lasted for months, where
hundreds of people were
saved and set free.
Upon completion of the
revival the pastor and
the souls repeatedly
pressed upon Overseer
Thomas to remain. This
was the beginning of
Center of Hope
Ministries in Niles, MI. |
|
In 2004, God led
Overseer Thomas back to
her hometown of
Greenwood, MS. She has
held two outdoor
crusades where people
have been set free, two
Christmas plays with toy
giveaways, and three
vacation bible schools
with school supply
giveaways. In 2006, God
led Overseer Thomas to
extend her ministry to
Greenwood, MS
permanently. As a
result, through the
Spirit’s leading, she
relinquished the
ministry in Chicago, IL.
Over 98% of the Chicago
membership relocated to
Niles, MI and Greenwood,
MS at their own will to
follow the anointing on
her life. |
|
On June 24, 2007, The
Mamie Thomas Ministries
officially opened its
doors for permanent
ministry in Greenwood,
MS. Many of the souls
that have been delivered
in crusades are now
faithful members of
ministry. The
membership has been
growing weekly newly
saved souls. |
|
Other ministries birthed
out of Overseer Thomas
are; the Mamie Thomas
Praise Ministry (MTPM)
and The Mamie Thomas
Academic Achievers
program (MTAA). The
MTPM has had numerous
opportunities to
minister at concerts,
churches, and parks. In
2004, the MTPM had the
opportunity to open for
the I Have A Dream Tour
featuring Kirk Franklin
and TobyMac. The MTAA
has helped young people
who were behind in
school to come to grade
level and beyond. It
has recently opened a
new program in
Greenwood, MS where
young people are
enrolled and being
assisted daily. |
|
Overseer Thomas has also
been used by God as an
International evangelist
to Ghana, St. Croix and

as well as to thousands
